    Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde’s ‘X’ account was hacked on Sunday. The hackers posted images of the Pakistani and Turkish flags. The account has been secured. The hacking incident caused concern among followers and political circles.

    According to the Deputy CM’s office, the technical team took immediate action and recovered the account. The account has been fully restored and is working normally.

    The hackers also streamed live content with Pakistani and Turkish flags. This took place on the day of the second Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan. An official reported that they immediately notified the cybercrime police. The team managing the Deputy CM’s X handle later recovered the account. It took approximately 30 to 45 minutes to recover the account.

    The office reported that the technical team quickly regained control of the account and restored security. The account is now fully secure and functioning as expected. Officials also clarified that no sensitive information was compromised.

    The incident exposed weaknesses in cybersecurity. The posting of the Pakistani and Turkish flags caused a reaction among followers. The Maharashtra Cyber Cell will investigate to identify the hackers. Hacking and cybercrimes are increasing rapidly in India, causing significant financial losses annually.
