Gangsters have increased their activity in Gurugram, Haryana, with several prominent individuals becoming targets. The most recent incident involves YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who was targeted in a shooting at his residence on Sunday morning. The attack has caused significant alarm within the community. This follows an earlier incident where singer Rahul Fazilpuria’s car was fired upon.
This attack on Elvish Yadav’s home occurred about a month after the shooting on July 14 targeting the car of Bollywood singer Rahul Fazilpuria. The financiers of Fazilpuria were killed in that incident, with the Himanshu Bhau gang, specifically gangster Sunil Sardhania, claiming responsibility.
The Gurugram Police are currently focused on identifying the gang and motives behind the attack on Elvish. They are gathering evidence from the scene and reviewing CCTV footage of the area.
Fazilpuria and Elvish are known to be friends. Fazilpuria had been provided police protection due to threats received from the Lawrence gang. Fazilpuria rose to fame with the song ‘Ladki Beautiful, Kar Gayi Chull’ from the Bollywood film ‘Kapoor & Sons’. Additionally, his name surfaced in an illegal snake venom trade investigation involving Elvish Yadav, and he was questioned by the ED.
The police are exploring all potential connections between the attack on Fazilpuria and the recent shooting at Elvish’s home. However, Elvish had not reported receiving any threats before the incident.
Elvish Yadav lives with his family in Sector 56, Gurugram. Early this morning, at around 5:30 AM, three masked individuals launched a shooting attack at his home. Elvish’s parents and caretaker were present during the incident, while Elvish is currently out of the country. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The firing took place on the ground and first floors of Elvish Yadav’s residence. The Gurugram Police have deployed multiple teams to investigate the scene, and initial reports suggest the involvement of three individuals who arrived on a motorcycle.
