    Naiduniya representative, Indore. In the case of suicide of B.Pharma student Gaurav Hada, Banganga police has registered a case against the teacher and her mother. Police admitted that the accused were blackmailing Gaurav. They had extorted money by filing a complaint against him. Investigation is going on against Mahila police station in-charge Kaushalya Chauhan and SI Gauri Tiwari.

    Gaurav, the 19-year-old son of Raju Hada, a vegetable vendor from Bhagirathpura, committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday night. The family took the body to the women’s police station and staged a protest. They alleged that the owner of an English coaching centre in Nanda Nagar was blackmailing Gaurav.

    She used to do objectionable chatting. She had taken money from Gaurav. Three days before the incident, she had also lodged a complaint of rape in the women’s police station. The TI and SI got the matter settled by taking 45 thousand rupees.

    Raju had to take money on interest. Disheartened, Gaurav hanged himself. On Thursday, the police recorded the statements of the relatives. The phone and chatting were confiscated and a case was registered against the teacher and her mother late at night.

    The family has handed over the screen shots of the chat between Gaurav and the teacher to the police. They allege that the teacher used to talk inappropriately on the internet media and phone. She used to pressure him to have a relationship. Gaurav always avoided it. He said that he is a student and wants to study.

    Troubled by the teacher, Gaurav blocked her number and she started threatening him with a false complaint. She also took about 2 lakh rupees. She threatened Gaurav for not sharing the photo on Friendship Day on 4th August and lodged a complaint at the police station. The SI called him to the police station and threatened to arrest him.
