The film ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa’ is presented as a silent film, with its creators seemingly overestimating their own abilities. Sohum Shah’s performance is uninspired in the role of a character who is ogling. Nushrratt Bharuccha’s portrayal of the wife lacks depth, which is a significant drawback. The film’s narrative includes a plot twist involving her character appearing as a murdered corpse. Despite the absence of dialogue, the background music by A R Rahman is distracting. The film fails to utilize the power of visuals to convey the story. The actors’ performances do not compensate for the lack of spoken words. The character played by Nora Fatehi is reduced to a mere object of the protagonist’s gaze. The inclusion of actors such as Omkar Kapoor and Sharib Hashmi does not elevate the film. Ultimately, ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa’ does not succeed in creating an engaging cinematic experience.
