In a recent interview, Casalegno indicated that Jeremiah doesn’t always resonate positively with viewers, especially those on Team Conrad. He added that he doesn’t actively monitor social media, so he is largely shielded from the hate. He has, however, seen humorous memes about his character, shared with him by his sister. Casalegno emphasized that the show is fictional and the character is separate from him. He also revealed that some fans approach him in person just to express their dislike of Jeremiah. Casalegno further discussed the weight of negative online comments, observing that such emotional pressure is unsustainable. He mentioned Amazon’s efforts to combat online bullying, but acknowledged that the issue remains challenging.
