Ashoke Pandit declares movie on athlete Pinki Pramanik: ‘It’s a narrative of combating in opposition to all odds’

Producer Ashoke Pandit on Tuesday introduced he’s set to make a movie primarily based on the lifetime of Asian Games gold medalist Pinki Pramanik. The 64-year-old filmmaker, who has directed TV collection Tere Mere Sapne and co-produced the movie The Accidental Prime Minister, has acquired the life rights of the track-and-field athlete.
