Deepika Padukone, following her exit from ‘Spirit’ and ‘Kalki 2’, is currently involved in two prominent projects: AA22xA6 with Allu Arjun and Atlee, and KING alongside Shah Rukh Khan. While filming KING, reports have surfaced indicating a potential reduction in Deepika’s role within Atlee’s film.
The reports suggest that Deepika’s screen time in AA22xA6 has been cut due to her requests for limited working hours. However, a source has disputed these claims.
Details have emerged that Deepika is scheduled to commence shooting for the Atlee-directed film with Allu Arjun at the end of the month. A source has confirmed that there have been no adjustments to the character offered to Deepika in June, emphasizing its significance in the film’s storyline. The actress has committed to the project from late October through December.
The filming schedule involves establishing her character in the initial stages, with large-scale action sequences slated for November. The production team plans to relocate to the UAE in December to capture pivotal scenes featuring Allu Arjun and Deepika.
The news regarding Deepika’s role in Atlee’s film came shortly after she was removed from ‘Kalki 2’. There are suggestions that the ‘Kalki 2’ production team decided to replace her because of her demands for a 25% increase in her salary and a 7-hour shift, which the producers were not able to agree to.
