Ranbir Kapoor is making waves in Bollywood with a series of prominent projects. After ‘Animal,’ he’s working on Part 1 of the 4000 crore ‘Ramayana’ and is occupied with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War.’ There’s news that one of his upcoming films has been delayed, a project with a director known for films earning 700 crores. This has raised questions about Aamir Khan’s influence. Aamir Khan returned with ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ this year, and is now reportedly reading scripts for his next film. The director who was planning a project with Ranbir Kapoor is now focusing on a different project. That director is Rajkumar Hirani. Ranbir Kapoor collaborated with Hirani on ‘Sanju.’ A new report indicates that a biopic on a sportsperson has been postponed to 2027, delaying the Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani film. The duo had been working on the project’s idea for a year. However, Rajkumar Hirani chose to postpone it due to the high expectations following ‘Sanju.’ Ranbir Kapoor’s busy schedule also contributed to the decision, and the film will be revisited later. Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘PK’ earned over 700 crores. The director is now in talks with Aamir Khan for a film centered on Dadasaheb Phalke. Workshops are planned for December, and shooting is slated to begin in January 2026, after which Ranbir’s film will be considered.
