The clash between ‘War 2’ and ‘Coolie’ continued to dominate the box office on Day 2 of their release. ‘War 2’ collected approximately Rs 108 crore in its first two days. ‘Coolie’, starring Rajinikanth, also had a successful opening day, earning Rs 65 crore, with the Tamil-speaking regions contributing the most. The plot of ‘Coolie’ revolves around a former gold smuggler named Deva, who attempts to regain his former glory by reviving his old gang. The film also features a large ensemble cast and a cameo appearance by Aamir Khan.
