DCEU’s Batgirl film for HBO Max begins filming

The upcoming DCEU superhero movie, Batgirl, has begun filming. Co-director Adil El Arbi took to Instagram to announce the information.
Arbi posted an image of a clapperboard with the Batgirl emblem, and likewise includes a desk with a nameplate that claims ‘Officer Barbara Gordon.’ Notably, Barbara Gordon is the key identification of Batgirl. “Day One of Batgirl!!! Al Hamdoulillah,” wrote Arbi.
Batgirl is directed by Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The movie has a script written by Christina Hodson, who beforehand wrote Birds of Prey and has additionally written the script for the upcoming The Flash film.
The movie has Leslie Grace enjoying the titular position, whereas actor JK Simmons is ready to reprise his position as Commissioner James Gordon.
Meanwhile, in October it was introduced that actor Brendan Fraser will play the villain Firefly.Batgirl is ready to premiere on HBO Max someday in 2022.
