WASHINGTON: The Directors Guild of America has revealed the nominees within the theatrical function movie and first-time function movie classes for the 74th annual DGA Awards 2022.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Thomas Anderson (‘Licorice Pizza’), Kenneth Branagh (‘Belfast’), Jane Campion (‘The Power of the Dog’), Steven Spielberg (‘West Side Story’) and Denis Villeneuve (‘Dune’) have been nominated within the excellent directorial achievement within the theatrical function movie class.

In the excellent directorial achievement of a first-time function movie director class, Maggie Gyllenhaal (‘The Lost Daughter’), Rebecca Hall (‘Passing’), Tatiana Huezo (‘Prayers for the Stolen’), Lin-Manuel Miranda (‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’), Michael Sarnoski (‘Pig’) and Emma Seligman (‘Shiva Baby’) have been nominated.
