From Thrills to Laughs: Ishan Khatter’s Jugadu Comedy Revealed

Ishan Khatter, riding high on ‘Homebound’s international acclaim, is all set to showcase his comedic chops in ‘Jugadu’, marking his first comedy drama. This shift from suspense to silliness has fans eagerly awaiting more details.

Wednesday brought the big reveal when Ishan posted an Instagram photo holding a clapperboard, teasing, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for Jugadu! First time doing comedy in my debut film of this genre. With a fantastic team, we’re brewing an explosive entertainer for the big screen soon.’

The update exploded in popularity, with fans raving and stars like Zoya Akhtar (‘Congrats’), Vishal Jethwa (‘Excited for this!’), Tisca Chopra (hearts), and Mohit Malik offering congratulations.

Director Palash Vaswani, celebrated for ‘Gullak’ and ‘Bada Naam Karenge’, launched the project with a muhurat on April 30 in Mumbai. Expect the core shoot to roll out in Punjab by month’s end.

Punjabi talent Tania debuts in Bollywood opposite Ishan, supported by a powerhouse cast including Abhishek Banerjee, Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Yamini Das, Sukhwinder Chahal, and Nirmal Rishi.

Tips Films and Baweja Studios, led by producers Ramesh Taurani, Pammy Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Jaya Taurani, are behind the venture. RangaRajan Ramabadran handles the visuals.
