Gerry and the Pacemakers star Gerry Marsden passes away

Gerry Marsden, lead singer of the British band Gerry and the Pacemakers whose model of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” grew to become the thunderously sung anthem for Liverpool Football Club, has died on the age of 78, a buddy introduced on Sunday.

Marsden shaped the band in 1959 and loved chart success in subsequent many years as a part of Liverpool’s “Merseybeat” motion that included contemporaries reminiscent of The Beatles.

The band’s 1963 model of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” has turn into the sound of Liverpool F.C.
