‘Godzilla Vs Kong’ to launch in India on March 24

MUMBAI: Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ epic journey “Godzilla Vs Kong” will now hit the theatres in India on March 24. The much-anticipated movie, directed by Adam Wingard, was earlier scheduled to bow out on March 26.
The film focuses on Kong and his protectors, who undertake a dangerous journey to search out his true dwelling, and with them is Jia, a younger orphaned woman with whom he has fashioned a novel and highly effective bond.
However, they unexpectedly discover themselves within the path of an enraged Godzilla, slicing a swath of destruction throughout the globe. “After looking at the tremendous response the trailer has received and sensing the huge anticipation for the film, we are delighted to announce that we are now releasing this gigantic movie – ‘Godzilla Vs Kong’ – two days earlier than scheduled, so that fans in India get to experience this film in cinemas the soonest possible,” Denzil Dias, VP & MD, Warner Bros Pictures (India), mentioned in an announcement.
“Godzilla Vs Kong” is a follow-up to 2019’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters”. The rebooted franchise began with 2014’s “Godzilla”, that includes the Japanese nuclear-created lizard. Three years later, “Kong: Skull Island” re-introduced King Kong.
The movie stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Kyle Chandler, Brian Tyree Henry, Eiza Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick and Julian Dennison. Godzilla Vs Kong” will launch in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
