Halle Berry to star in and government produce Netflix movie The Mothership
Actor Halle Berry will topline Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi journey movie The Mothership.
Writer Matthew Charman, who earned an Academy Award nomination for Bridge of Spies, will direct the film from his personal script, reported Deadline.
The story follows Sara Morse (Berry) one yr since her husband mysteriously vanished from their rural farm. When she discovers an odd, extraterrestrial object beneath their dwelling, Sara and her children embark on a race to search out their husband, father, and most significantly — the reality.
The venture, which is a co-production of Netflix and MRC Film, shall be produced by Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones underneath their Automatik banner.
Berry may also government produce alongside Danny Stillman.
