The incident has caused considerable concern, leaving Patani’s family in a state of shock. Responsibility for the shooting was claimed by the gangs of Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar, through a social media post.
This incident is not isolated, as several other celebrities have faced similar threats. Salman Khan and Elvish Yadav are among those who have also experienced such attacks.
Salman Khan: A shooting at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments on April 14, 2024, brought to light the risks faced by high-profile individuals. Gunfire struck the building, and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. The authorities subsequently arrested a suspect and increased security for Khan.
Elvish Yadav: YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram home was also targeted in a shooting. Police confirmed that three individuals on a motorcycle fired roughly 12 rounds. However, Yadav’s father reported that 24-25 shots were fired.
Kapil Sharma: Comedian Kapil Sharma’s Canadian cafe was also attacked with multiple rounds of gunfire. The cafe, recently opened by Sharma and his wife, was targeted on July 10. Another shooting occurred shortly after.
AP Dhillon: Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s Canadian home was also targeted in a shooting incident that took place last September. Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, took responsibility for the attack, citing Dhillon’s connection to Salman Khan as the reason.
