Kelvin Harrison Jr to play BB King in Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Elvis’

LOS ANGELES: Kelvin Harrison Jr, who lately starred in authorized interval drama “The Trial of the Chicago 7” and musical drama “The High Note”, is about to star as blues icon BB King within the upcoming Elvis Presley biopic.
The movie, directed by Baz Luhrmann, stars Austin Butler within the title position of the King of Rock and Roll, whereas Tom Hanks is taking part in Elvis’ supervisor Colonel Tom Parker.
According to Deadline, manufacturing on the Warner Bros film resumed in September after Hanks got here down with COVID-19 in March, prompting a six-month manufacturing shutdown.
