Liam Neeson not coming again as Qui-Gon Jinn for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ collection

LOS ANGELES: Veteran motion begin Liam Neeson has shot down the rumours that he’ll return as Qui-Gon Jinn in forthcoming “Obi-Wan Kenobi” collection at Disney Plus.

Actor Ewan McGregor is reprising his position of Jedi grasp Obi-Wan Kenobi within the collection, which might be written by Joby Harold and directed by Deborah Chow.

Set 10 years after the occasions of 2005 “Star Wars” film “Revenge of the Sith”, the present follows the adventures of Kenobi throughout his time on Tatooine.

During his look on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, to advertise his new movie “The Ice Road”, Neeson was requested if he’ll return as Qui-Gon Jinn within the present.

“I heard Ewan McGregor was gonna do a series. No, I don’t think so. No, I haven’t been approached,” the Irish actor replied.

Neeson, 69, who famously performed the half in 1999 film “The Phantom Menace”, then joked that Disney-owned Lucasfilm couldn’t afford him to be within the collection.

“They don’t have enough money,” he stated.

“Obi-Wan Kenobi”, a six-episode collection, may even star Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Erskine, O’Shea Jackson Jr, Moses Ingram, Rupert Friend and Benny Safdie.
