Lil Yachty to develop heist film primarily based on card recreation UNO

Rapper Lil Yachty is growing a live-action adaptation of Uno in collaboration with Mattel, the cardboard recreation’s proprietor.
The live-action heist comedy can be produced by Yachty together with the toy manufacture’s film manufacturing firm, Mattel Films.
According to Variety, the film can be set within the underground hip-hop scene of Atlanta – the 23-year-old rapper’s native metropolis.
Marcy Kelly has penned the screenplay, and Yachty is being eyed for the lead function.
“I’m so excited to be part of this film with Mattel. I played Uno as a kid and still do today, so to spin that into a movie based on the Atlanta hip hop scene I came out of is really special. It hits close to home for me,” the musician stated in a press release.
Quality Control’s Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “P” Thomas and Brian Sher are additionally on board as producers.
Robbie Brenner is government producing the movie for Mattel Films.
