Martin Luther King Jr biography ‘The Seminaria’ to get TV collection adaptation

LOS ANGELES: Author Patrick Parr’s “The Seminarian: Martin Luther King Jr. Comes of Age” is getting a TV collection adaptation with Lawrence ‘LAW’ Watford’s Divine Write Pictures shopping for the movie, tv and digital rights to the e-book.

According to Deadline, Watford goals to adapt the e-book for TV by way of his Tyler Street Films partnership with Jack Manning III and Tiffany Elle Burgess.

Parr’s e-book, printed in 2018, explores Martin Luther King Jr. life as a pupil at Crozer Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania and his romance with a white lady, Betty Moitz, who was the daughter of the varsity dietitian.

“I’m always attracted to stories that have incongruence as a central theme, so when I first read about Dr. King’s relationship with Betty Moitz in the press, I was intrigued, as I imagine most people probably were,” Watford stated.

The director-writer stated with deal with King’s private life folks will get to know their hero as a traditional human being.

“We’re at all times conscious of the methods through which our heroes have impacted us throughout our adolescence, however it’s uncommon that we get an genuine glimpse into the occasions and individuals who formed them into these legendary folks we have a good time at the moment.
