Matt Dillon, Christine Taylor, Rupert Friend, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, and Bernadette Peters are the newest entrants to the solid of Patricia Arquette’s upcoming comedy collection High Desert.
The collection revolves round Peggy (Arquette), an addict, who decides to make a brand new begin after the dying of her beloved mom with whom she lived within the small desert city of Yucca Valley, California. She makes a life-changing determination to develop into a personal investigator. It was initially ordered by Apple in September 2020.
While Dillon will play Denny, Peggy’s former flame, an undeniably charming parolee and a relentless operator, Friend will play Guru Bob, an area ex-anchorman, who, after a trauma, rebrands himself as a mystic desert character.
Opia stars as Carol, Peggy’s closest pal who has a secret of her personal. Garrett performs Bruce, a personal investigator and Peggy’s reluctant employer. Peters will recur as Rosalyn, Peggy’s sophisticated mom. Taylor recurs as Dianne, Peggy’s buttoned-up sister.
