‘Most honest, weirdest blockbuster’: Doctor Strange’ author C Robert Cargill shocked ‘RRR’

MUMBAI: American screenwriter C Robert Cargill, recognized for penning Benedict Cumberbatch-starrer “Doctor Strange”, has referred to as filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” the “craziest” blockbuster he has ever seen. Released in March, “RRR” opened to a thundering response on the field workplace with many lauding Rajamouli’s fantastical imaginative and prescient and grand mounting of a narrative of two pals.
The movie, which had clocked greater than Rs 1000 cr the worldwide field workplace, has been getting a wider worldwide acclaim ever since its Netflix premiere in May. Cargill, whose different screenwriting credit embody supernatural movies like “Sinister” and “The Black Phone”, took to Twitter and wrote he was pleased to be part of the “cult” that’s “RRR”.

“RRR” is Rajamouli’s third consecutive blockbuster after “Baahubali: The Beginning” and its sequel, “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. The movie adopted the fictional story of two Indian freedom fighters from the early twentieth century – Alluri Sitarama, performed by Ram Charan and Kumaram Bheem, performed by Jr NTR.
