Today we celebrate the 44th birthday of Paoli Dam, a prominent actress in both Bengali and Bollywood cinema. She is highly regarded for her work, including her role in the Hindi film ‘Hate Story.’ Dam began her acting career with the Bengali television serial ‘Jibon Niye Khela’ in 2003. She subsequently appeared in ‘Tithi Atithi’ and ‘Sonar Harin’. Before acting, Dam had an interest in becoming a pilot and studied chemistry. Her first Bengali film was ‘Teen Yaari Katha.’ In 2011, she received international acclaim for her role in ‘Chatrak’, which was screened at prestigious film festivals. In 2012, Dam made her Bollywood debut in ‘Hate Story’ and also starred in ‘Ankur Arora Murder Case’. Her recent work includes strong performances in web series like ‘Bulbbul’, ‘Charlie Chopra’, and ‘The Great Indian Murder’.
