Samajwadi Party’s Ram Gopal Yadav has stirred the pot in the ‘Yadav Ji Ki Love Story’ controversy, linking it to deeper issues of mental health, fame-chasing, and technological dependency. Addressing gatherings in Mainpuri on February 21, he portrayed the film as emblematic of reckless behavior.
‘Many in India suffer mental distress,’ Yadav observed. ‘They rush into actions without reflection, impacting others negatively. Driven by a thirst for recognition, they ignore wisdom or folly in their pursuits.’
The movie narrates an interfaith love story where a young woman seeks marriage with Wasim Akhtar, played by Vishal Mohan, only for religion to intervene. Fury has gripped Sambhal regions, with Yadav groups protesting the title’s alleged intent to demean their community.
Shifting gears, Yadav took a dig at contemporary India: ‘Praise the ground, and all else goes awry.’ He highlighted eroding competencies in officialdom. ‘Joint secretaries struggle with simple notes now. Past generations mastered formal writing through rigorous practice. Modern reliance on AI like ChatGPT skips essential training.’
Yadav voiced alarm at AI’s trajectory: ‘It’s not applied judiciously to meaningful work, emerging as a significant challenge.’ His multifaceted rant resonates amid ongoing demonstrations, prompting reflection on creativity’s boundaries, societal harmony, and the digital age’s pitfalls.
