In Krish Jagarlamudi’s *Ghaati*, Anushka Shetty offers a new perspective on action cinema by embodying a warrior who doesn’t need conventional attire. The movie is a revenge saga that is a violent tale. Set in the cannabis-growing areas of Andhra, the film’s cinematography stands out. Shetty’s performance holds the film together, as she brings life to the role of Sheelavathi. Some parts of the storyline could have been edited to keep the plot moving. Shetty, as Sheelavathi, embodies resilience. Jagapathi Babu, as the cop, also adds a unique flavor to the movie. The predictable nature of the plot weakens the film. However, the film’s personality emerges through the unique storytelling style of Krish Jagarlamudi.
