Romance-horror drama in works from Danish movie firm

Film manufacturing home BeliefNordisk has taken up the manufacturing of Attachment, an English-language horror-romance set in Jewish folklore.
According to Variety, the movie, which is now in manufacturing, revolves round Maja, a Danish feminine actor with a fading profession who falls in love with Leah, a younger, Jewish tutorial from London.
When Leah suffers a mysterious seizure, Maja decides to comply with Leah again to her residence within the Hasidic space of Stamford Hill, London. When Maja arrives there, she meets Leah’s secretive mom Chana.
However, stranger occurrences start to occur. Directed by Gabriel Bier Gislason, Attachment stars Josephine Park (The Investigation), Ellie Kendrick (The Diary of Anne Frank), Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing) and David Dencik (Men & Chicken).
The mission marks director Gislason’s characteristic debut. He had beforehand directed the shorts Purple Haze and Samuel’s Getting Hitched. Nordisk Film’s Thomas Heinesen is producing the movie.
