Salman Khan is set to portray an army officer in the film ‘Battle of Galwan,’ directed by Apurva Lakhia. The film’s production has garnered attention, and Khan recently completed filming in Ladakh. The shoot was not without challenges, as the crew had to contend with sandstorms.
Chitrangada Singh, also part of the cast, shared her experiences, stating, “It was very exciting. This is the first time I am sharing the screen with Salman. I know him, but professionally on set is a different and thrilling experience.” The film ‘Battle of Galwan’ is based on the violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley in 2020. Salman will be seen in the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, who was martyred in that clash. The film is scheduled to be released in 2026.
