Shah Rukh Khan, fresh from a string of successful releases in 2023, has shared news about ‘King’. During an ‘Ask SRK’ session on X, the actor confirmed the imminent resumption of filming. He stated that some initial shooting had been completed, and the focus would soon shift to leg shots. Khan expressed his hope for a fast completion, recognizing director Siddharth Anand’s efforts. The film reportedly experienced setbacks due to Khan’s on-set injury. This has led to a potential postponement of the release to 2027, as opposed to the originally planned 2026 date. This shift in schedule prioritizes Khan’s health, given the film’s action-packed nature. ‘King’ is anticipated to have a large cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff. Additionally, Khan recently received his first National Award for his performance in ‘Jawan’.
