LOS ANGELES: Hollywood studio Warner Bros has formally introduced a sequel to its latest superhero hit “The Batman”.
Robert Pattinson, who performed the titular superhero within the Matt Reeves-directed film, will return for the sequel together with the filmmaker.
The studio shared the information of “The Batman 2” throughout its presentation on the CinemaCon on Tuesday evening, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
“Matt took one of our most iconic and beloved superheroes and delivered a fresh. Matt Reeves, Rob Pattinson and the entire team will be taking audiences back to Gotham with ‘The Batman 2’,” Warner Bros film chief Toby Emmerich stated throughout the presentation.
“The Batman” featured Pattinson because the caped crusader, who has been preventing crime in Gotham City for 2 years, uncovering corruption whereas pursuing the Riddler (performed by Paul Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham’s elite.
