The film, directed by Abhishek Chanda, featured Nirahua and Pakhi Hegde in leading roles. Nirahua recently shared a behind-the-scenes story from the film’s shoot, highlighting an interesting interaction with Jaya Bachchan.
In a recent interview, Nirahua discussed his experiences working with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. He mentioned his initial nervousness and the overwhelming feeling of sharing screen space with such respected actors. Nirahua fondly recalled a particular scene with Jaya Bachchan. In the scene, he was portraying a character who was supposed to hit his on-screen wife. Jaya Bachchan, playing his mother in the film, reacted by hitting him with a prop stick. Nirahua recounted the moment, joking about it and saying, ‘Why are you hitting me?’ Jaya Bachchan, still in character, responded, ‘Why are you hitting my daughter-in-law?’ He added that although the hit was unintended, he cherishes the incident as a fond memory of working with the legendary actress. The film’s producer was Deepak Sawant, who was Amitabh Bachchan’s makeup artist at the time.
