Viju Shah discussed his involvement in Hansal Mehta’s film ‘Chhal’. This project marked his first time working with producer Nitin Patil, director Hansal Mehta, lyricist Amitabh Varma, recording and mixing engineer Tanay Gajjar, and singer K.K. Shah described the overall experience as very enjoyable. He highlighted the presence of music in ‘Chhal’, given its genre. K.K. was thrilled to sing the title track. Asha Bhosle, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam, and Shaan also contributed. Javed Ali sang an alaap in one of the songs. Shah also enjoyed creating the background score. The film was the debut for actors Kay Kay Menon and Prashant Narayan. Shah shared a story about Asha Bhosle’s commitment – she climbed four floors to dub a song when the elevator was not working.
