    People are submitting applications in solution boxes in villages and cities

    Applications will be received from the general public in Gram Panchayats and urban bodies from April 8 to 11

    Raipur, April 09, 2025/Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state-wide launch of the Good Governance Festival for the solution of problems of the people and face-to-face meetings with them has started from April 08. This Good Governance Festival, to be held in three phases, will run till May 31. In the first phase, from April 8 to April 11, applications are being received directly from the general public in the offices of Gram Panchayats and urban bodies. Tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the people regarding the Good Governance Festival even on the second day, and people are submitting applications related to their problems in the solution boxes set up in the Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat offices.

    In Devgaon, Gourdand, Pharsgaon, Kapsi, Sulenga, Dhaudai, Kudhar village of Narayanpur district, Kotamara, Kateli and Bhothli Gram Panchayats of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, Khadgawan, Bhatko, Kunkuri Devgarh and Sontarai Gram Panchayats of Vikas Khand Batouli and Sitapur in Ambikapur district, people enthusiastically submitted applications regarding their problems. Along with taking stock of the arrangements for the Good Governance Festival, the Commissioner and Collector along with other administrative officers are also advising people to submit application letters without any hesitation for the resolution of their problems.

    Under the Good Governance Festival, there is also a system for receiving applications through online application portal and Common Service Center. Solution boxes have also been kept in development blocks and district headquarters to receive applications, where people are putting in applications regarding their problems. The duties of officers and employees have also been assigned in the offices of Gram Panchayats and urban bodies to fill the applications related to the problems of the general public, so that people do not face any kind of problem in submitting applications related to their problems. Divyang Sangwari and Sangwari Didi have also been deployed in many districts to help in preparing the application forms.

    It is noteworthy that continuous efforts are being made by the Chhattisgarh State Government for good governance and transparency. In this series, the organization of Good Governance Festival-2025 is an important initiative. Under the Good Governance Festival-2025, all the applications received will be entered in the software and sent to the concerned departments, and their disposal will be ensured within a month.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the objective of Good Governance Festival 2025 is to provide effective and quick solutions to the problems of the general public, transparency in government works and to establish direct communication with the public. Chief Minister Shri Sai had already directed all the District Collectors to ensure the systematic organization of the Good Governance Festival and the prompt disposal of the applications received under it. He said that the status and quality of disposal will also be reviewed at the state and district level.

    In the third phase of the Good Governance Festival, solution camps will be organized in the middle of 8 to 15 Gram Panchayats of each district. Camps will also be organized in urban bodies as per requirement. In the camps, the general public will be informed about the status of their application, and as far as possible, the application will be disposed of quickly there. Information will be given about the remaining problems within a month. Information about public welfare schemes will be given in the solution camps and application forms of beneficiary-oriented schemes will also be made available. Active participation of MPs, MLAs and other public representatives is being ensured in this campaign. The Chief Minister, ministers, chief secretary, in-charge secretary and senior officers will themselves be present in the camps and interact with the general public, and take feedback on the benefits being received from development works and schemes. Also, the actual status and quality of the ongoing construction works will be evaluated through surprise inspections.
