    Deoghar: A detailed review meeting of the preparations for the State Shravani Mela, 2024 (Deoghar-Basukinath) was organized in the auditorium of Deoghar Parishad under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. During this meeting, Festival Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Vishal Sagar welcomed the Chief Minister, MLA, Chief Secretary and senior officials.

    Apart from this, during the meeting, Chief Minister Hemant Soren ji reviewed the various preparations made for the State Shravani Mela, 2024 point-wise and directed the concerned senior officers and police officials, saying that convenience, security, cleanliness and politeness should be the basic sentiment of the fair, so that whatever devotees come to Baba Nagari from the country and the world, they should take a good message. It is most important that every possible facility should be provided to the devotees in the fair area, so that everyone can do safe and easy offering of water during the fair. Further, the Honorable Chief Minister said that everyone should be put to work with a spirit of service. The Chief Minister emphasized that the people of the police force, the people of the administration and anyone else who is on duty should keep their behavior polite with all the Kanwarias.

    Arrangements should be tight in the entire fair area

    Apart from this, during the meeting, apart from arrangements for drinking water, housing, toilets, health facilities, traffic system, parking facilities, bathrooms, cleanliness, electricity system, information system, relief from heat, the Chief Minister said that there should be tight security in the fair area. There should be cleanliness in the entire city and lighting with alternative arrangements, so that there is no darkness anywhere. There should be doctors in hospitals and health centers and ambulances at every location. The NDRF team and administration should be fully prepared to deal with any emergency. All police stations, OP and traffic OP should be sensitive so that there is no problem in law and order, security system, parking and traffic. Further, the Honorable Chief Minister gave necessary and appropriate instructions to the concerned officials so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience due to the four-lane work going on in the Deoghar to Dumka road during the fair and the newly constructed railway crossing under Mohanpur block.

Khiangte, Chief Secretary, Ajay Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Health and Public Works Department, Sunil Kumar, Principal Secretary, Road Construction Department, Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Director General-cum-Inspector General of Police, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Santhal Pargana Commissioner Mr. Lalchand Dadel, Santhal Pargana DIG Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Dumka Mr. Anjaneyulu Dodde, Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Mr. Vishal Sagar, Superintendent of Police Mr. Pitambar Singh Kherwar, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ajit Peter Dungdung, Sub-Divisional Officer Deoghar Mrs. Sagari Baral, Sub-Divisional Officer Madhupur Mr. Ashish Agarwal, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mr. Ritwik Srivastava, District Public Relations Officer Mr. Rahul Kumar Bharti and related officers, engineers, police officers etc. were present.
