Expansion of education opportunities in Chhattisgarh – New Kendriya Vidyalaya to open in Arang, Raipur district

Raipur, October 5, 2025/ The Economic Affairs Committee of the Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of a new Kendriya Vidyalaya in Arang, Raipur district. Chief Minister Shri Sai, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan for this decision, said that this initiative will provide better opportunities for quality education for the children of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that this is an important step towards expanding education opportunities in Chhattisgarh. He said that this school will not only prove to be a boon for the students of Arang region, but will also awaken a new consciousness of education in the surrounding rural areas.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to improve the standard of education in all areas of the state, to strengthen the basic infrastructure of schools and to provide equal opportunities to the students. He said that a new era of education is beginning in Chhattisgarh with the coordinated efforts of the double engine government of the center and the state.
