Thirty years after the passing of N.T. Rama Rao, Andhra Pradesh pauses to reflect on the life of its most charismatic leader. The actor-politician’s 30th death anniversary brought together his kin—son Balakrishna, grandson Nandamuri, and another grandson Nara Lokesh—in a display of unwavering devotion.

The ceremonies kicked off at dawn with special pujas at NTR’s samadhi. Balakrishna, known for his fiery on-screen persona mirroring his father’s, delivered a stirring oration. He detailed NTR’s pioneering TV serials on mythology that educated the masses and his bold welfare initiatives like rice subsidies.

Nandamuri, the next generation torchbearer, spoke of personal lessons from NTR, from fitness routines to political strategy. His tribute added a youthful vigor to the proceedings, attracting young fans who see NTR as a timeless hero.

Nara Lokesh, active in TDP’s revival efforts, chose a digital homage, posting emotional notes and clips of NTR’s speeches. ‘His vision for a strong Andhra is my north star,’ Lokesh affirmed, linking past glory to future aspirations.

Throughout the day, Hyderabad buzzed with screenings of NTR classics, fan meets, and charity drives. Leaders from across parties acknowledged NTR’s legacy in uplifting the underprivileged through policies that prioritized self-respect over subsidies.

This milestone anniversary reaffirms NTR’s immortal status. As family and followers pledge continuity, his story—from reel hero to real reformer—continues to motivate.
