Fatal Shooting of RJD Leader Rajkumar Rai Rocks Patna, Police Gather Evidence

Patna is reeling from the murder of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rajkumar Rai, who was gunned down on Wednesday night. The incident occurred in front of Rajendra Nagar Terminal around 10 PM. The police, including Patna East SP Parichay Kumar, are actively investigating the crime, with CCTV footage as a key piece of evidence. Rai, also known as Ala Rai, was involved in politics and land dealings. After being shot, he entered a nearby shop but died from his injuries while en route to the hospital. The police are examining the area where six shells were recovered.
