Ambikapur: A heartbreaking incident came to light on Friday at Poparranga Kudu Para, village panchayat located in Bhatauli development block of Ambikapur. A fierce fire broke out in 17 acres of sugarcane crop, due to which the entire crop turned into a pile of ash in a moment.

It is being told that an unknown person set fire to the adjacent bushes, which reached the sugarcane crop due to strong winds. In this incident, the hard work of more than half a dozen farmers was rekindled, who had prepared this crop with months of hard work. Farmers say that the fire spread so fast that they could understand anything, the whole crop became ashes. There is deep resentment and disappointment among the farmers due to this horrific incident.
