First Apple Foldable iPhone: Launch Anticipated for 2025

Reports indicate that Apple will unveil its first foldable iPhone next year. This news has generated significant excitement, with the company set to launch its iPhone 17 series soon. The foldable iPhone, identified by the internal code name V68, is expected to have a design similar to Samsung’s Z Fold series, opening to resemble a tablet. The device is rumored to include a sophisticated camera setup, with four cameras: one front-facing, one on the inner screen, and two on the rear. This arrangement is intended to boost photo and video quality. Instead of Face ID, Touch ID could be used. A defining feature of the phone is its reliance on eSIM technology, removing the requirement for a physical SIM card slot. Apple’s suppliers have started preparing for the production of this model. Production is set to increase early next year, and the device is planned for launch in 2025, potentially alongside the iPhone 18 series. The device is currently undergoing testing in black and white color options. The display will utilize a new in-cell touch technology, reducing visible creases and enhancing the touch experience. Additionally, the phone may incorporate Apple’s C2 modem instead of Qualcomm’s, which could lead to improved performance and network connectivity.
