Jagdeep Dhankhar has moved out of the Vice President’s Enclave following his resignation. He has been allocated a Type 8 bungalow at 34 APJ Abdul Kalam Road by the government. However, this residence will take approximately three months to be ready, making it a future home.
Dhankhar has moved into a private residence in Chhatarpur. Until the Type 8 bungalow is completed, he will reside there. He is expected to shift to the new bungalow once it is ready. The Ministry of Urban Development had already prepared for the new accommodation in August. As per regulations, former Vice Presidents are entitled to a Type 8 bungalow in Delhi’s Lutyens Zone or 2 acres of land at their ancestral place.
