    The initiative was conceived by the women employees themselves. Kiran Narendra, General Manager of the Durga Line, Jamshedpur plant, explained that the women, who produce safe and high-quality vehicles, wanted to offer a ‘Raksha Bandhan’ thread to the drivers who operate them. To do so, they devised an initiative to make rakhis themselves and send them to truck drivers, wishing them a safe journey.

    The core message of the gesture is to show that strength of a nation lies not in its machines but the people behind them.
