Koderma’s Modern Public School has successfully organized a comprehensive educational fair, aiming to provide invaluable career guidance to about 1500 students. The event was inaugurated by Koderma MLA Dr. Neera Yadav, marking the beginning of a day filled with educational exploration and opportunity. The fair was designed to bridge the gap between students’ aspirations and the available academic avenues.
Twenty-five prominent colleges and universities from across India participated, offering students expert advice on higher education and career development. A significant number of students, totaling approximately 1500, from various schools in the Koderma district, attended the fair to benefit from this unique learning experience.
Notable participating institutions included Global Research of Institutions, Haryana; Amity University, Jharkhand; Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata; Jain University, Bangalore; IILM University, Greater Noida; Marwadi University, Gujarat; DBS Global University, Dehradun; Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Punjab; Roorkee Institute of Technology; RKDF University, Jharkhand; ICFAI University, Jharkhand; Sage University, Indore-Bhopal; Rewa University, Bangalore; Pimpri Chinchwad University, Pune; Kalinga University, Raipur; and East Point Group of Institutions, Bangalore. This broad representation facilitated exposure to a wide range of educational disciplines.
The fair proved highly beneficial for students seeking clarity on their future. They engaged with representatives from various institutions, learning about academic programs post-12th grade, subject selection strategies, career outlooks, and job opportunities. This direct interaction enabled students to address their concerns and make more informed choices about their educational journeys.
Dr. Neera Yadav, the chief guest, underscored the significance of regular educational fairs in guiding students toward informed career decisions. She emphasized that selecting the correct stream according to one’s innate abilities is crucial for advancement. Principal Gurucharan Verma reported that students were highly satisfied with the information received, enhancing their confidence for future steps. School Director Sangeeta Sharma highlighted the fair’s immense contribution to student development and pledged continued commitment to organizing similar beneficial initiatives.
