The arrival of Ghost of Yotei, the anticipated follow-up to Ghost of Tsushima, is fast approaching on PlayStation 5. Developed by Sucker Punch, this open-world title allows players to experience a revenge narrative set in feudal Japan, taking them on a journey across the country.
Atsu, a lone mercenary, is determined to take revenge on the Yōtei Six, the masked outlaws responsible for killing her family. To achieve this, she assumes the role of the “Ghost.”
Players will explore the challenging terrain of Ezo, set in the 1600s. Atsu will embark on a journey through various settings, from calm hot springs to misty forests, and snow-covered mountains. Gamers will enjoy a non-linear experience thanks to the open world, which lets them choose which of the Yōtei Six to fight first.
Ghost of Yotei maintains the action combat gameplay while introducing new elements and tools. Players can wield two katanas, the powerful odachi, and a grappling hook for climbing and traversal.
