Government Rules Flouted: DSP’s Wife Uses Blue Beacon Car for Birthday, Driver Takes the Fall

In Balrampur, Chhattisgarh, a DSP’s wife created a controversy by celebrating her birthday on the hood of a vehicle with a blue beacon, which was captured in a widely circulated video. The video showed the DSP’s wife using the car for her birthday celebration and also another video where she was seen with other women misusing the car. In response to the public outcry, the police have filed an FIR, however, it is against the DSP’s driver, sparking criticism regarding the handling of the situation. Questions remain about the timing of action against the DSP’s wife, who appears to be the primary violator. The driver is the only one facing legal action, with the FIR filed in Ambikapur’s Gandhinagar police station, under the BNS and Motor Vehicles Act.
