An educational excursion saw 88 third-grade students from Grizzly School visiting the Koderma Cow Shelter. The children were welcomed by Amit Khetan, a representative of the shelter, who facilitated their learning experience by taking them on a guided tour. The primary objective was to provide hands-on exposure to animal care and related agricultural processes.

During the visit, students delved into the practical applications of cow shelter activities. They learned about the production of organic fertilizer, milk processing and packaging, and the cultivation of green fodder for the cattle. The students also became familiar with the equipment used, such as tractors and specialized machines for cutting fodder, understanding their roles in the shelter’s ecosystem.

A lively question-and-answer session took place with Arun Modi, the shelter’s secretary, where students like Sanskriti Kumari, Arohi Arya, Sagar Satyam, and Naina inquired about various aspects. Their questions covered the sale of organic fertilizer, the operational mechanics of the shelter’s machinery, and the infrastructure and employee management.

Mr. Modi provided comprehensive and informative responses, enhancing the students’ understanding. As a gesture of goodwill, the visiting teachers were presented with mementos and organic fertilizer. The school’s delegation included Vikas Kumar Yadav and Priyanshu Deep, while representatives from the cow shelter included Saurav Mishra and Mantu.
