Hareli Festival Celebrated with Traditional Flair at Chief Minister’s Residence

The Hareli festival, a significant cultural event in Chhattisgarh, was celebrated with traditional customs at the residence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The event featured a display of traditional agricultural implements and attire, showcasing Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage. Visitors had the opportunity to see and learn about various traditional items, including the ‘Katha’, used for measuring paddy, ‘Khumri’, a head covering made from bamboo, ‘Kansi Dori’, used for weaving, ‘Jhapi’, a wooden container and ‘Kalari’, a tool used for handling grain. The celebration emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the cultural identity of Chhattisgarh.
