On Friday, on Hartalika Teej of Shukla Paksha of Bhado month, women and girls will observe a waterless fast with the wish of unbroken good fortune and a good groom respectively. On this day, there is a ritual of worshiping Lord Saubhgyaeshwar Mahadev in the Saubhgyaeshwar Mahadev temple located in Patni Bazaar. According to tradition, the doors of the temple will open at 12 o’clock on Thursday night. After this, the process of continuous darshan worship will continue for 24 hours.

The doors of the temple will be closed again at 12 o’clock on Friday night. Priests Pt. Praveen Pandya and Pt. Rajesh Pandya said that worshipping Lord Saubhagyaeshwar Mahadev, one of the 84 Mahadevs, is believed to provide happiness and good fortune.

Worshipping them ensures longevity of the husband and happiness and prosperity in the family. Marriageable girls worship them with the hope of getting a good husband. On this day, a large number of women and girls come here to offer prayers.
