    Civil Surgeon Dr. Yugal Kishore Choudhary inaugurated the Shravani Mela office created by the Health Department. The aim of the office is to provide health facilities to the pilgrims during the Shravani Mela and to ensure proper functioning of all health camps, both permanent and temporary, throughout the mela. Accommodation facilities have been arranged for the doctors and para-medical staff and different in-charges have been appointed to ensure smooth execution of duties. A toll-free number 9102405761 has also been launched, where people can call to get any health related assistance. Shravani Mela in-charge, Dr. Singh Alok Kumar Binod Kumar said that the Health Department has set up 35 permanent and temporary health camps for the mela. The state government has deputed medical officers and para-medical staff for 15 days. Dr. Sharad Kumar, the administrative in-charge of Sadar Hospital, informed that all the doctors and staff at Sadar Hospital will provide 24-hour service as per the service roster. Also present at the inauguration were ACMO Dr. Pramod Kumar Sharma, Dr. Sanchayan, Dr. Abhay Kumar Yadav, Dr. Manish Shekhar, Dr. Ganesh Kumar, Arun Choudhary, Tarun Kumar Tiwari, Kumar Abhishek, Ravi Kumar Sinha, Congress Mandal, Animesh Ghosh, Vijay Prasad, and Bablu Kumar.
