Big news for Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries in Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s administration is rolling out treatment facilities in every cantonment hospital statewide. The State Health Agency is finalizing MoUs with 12 hospitals, building on the resounding success in Prayagraj.
With 13 such hospitals across the province, Prayagraj’s has led the charge since January 2026, delivering cost-free interventions for cardiology, nephrology, oncology, and more. Beneficiaries enjoy complimentary OPD slots, lab work, and patient transport, leading to tangible health improvements.
Archana Verma, SHA CEO, confirmed the expansion to key locations like Agra, Mathura, Jhansi, and beyond. Dr. Puja Yadav noted that this will empower patients with access to top-tier expertise for critical conditions, complete with pick-up services to eliminate travel woes for the economically disadvantaged.
Post-MoU, these hospitals will sync with the Ayushman portal for transparent treatment records, payments, and settlements. This fusion of military precision healthcare with public welfare reduces system overload and extends premium services to the masses. Yogi’s vision promises a healthier, more inclusive Uttar Pradesh.
