Following the early arrival of the Southwest Monsoon, which brought heavy rain to various states, the rainfall has now decreased. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts typical weather conditions nationwide. Delhi-NCR, alongside other regions, is again facing the brunt of extreme heat.

In Delhi, after recent rainfall, temperatures are soaring. The weather department forecasts no rain in the coming days. The capital will have clear weather today, with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26 degrees. Starting tomorrow, June 14, temperatures could exceed 40 degrees Celsius, indicating that Delhi residents will experience the heat for the upcoming 5 days.

    **UP Grapples with Heat**

Uttar Pradesh is significantly affected by the heat. Intense sunlight during the day is causing considerable heat. The weather department projects no rain until June 11. Heatwaves could occur in Bundelkhand, Vindhya, and surrounding areas from June 9-11. From June 11, eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience easterly winds, potentially bringing rain.

    **Bihar and Jharkhand Weather Conditions**

Bihar will mostly have dry weather today. The capital, Patna, may see a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27 degrees. The weather department has issued a rain warning from June 10, with humid conditions beforehand. Temperatures may rise by up to four degrees. Ranchi, Jharkhand, and several districts may receive light rain and thunderstorms in the evening.

**Heatwave in Certain States; Rain in Northeast India**

Heatwave conditions may persist in western Rajasthan from June 8-11, Punjab and Haryana from June 9-11, and northern Madhya Pradesh on June 9 and 10. Heavy rainfall is expected in South India and the Northeast from June 10. Light to moderate rain is forecasted for most of Northeast India over the next 7 days.

    **Mountain Region Weather**

Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are likely to experience intense heat. Strong sunshine in Uttarakhand’s mountainous areas adds to the heat. The weather in the mountains is expected to change rapidly, with the possibility of rain in portions of Himachal Pradesh on June 12-13.
