Following early monsoon rains, Delhi and several North Indian states are once again enduring scorching temperatures. The capital city is seeing clear skies today, but no respite from the heat is expected for the next four days. Rain is anticipated on June 13th.

The maximum temperature in Delhi could reach 42 degrees Celsius today, with a minimum of 28 degrees. Tomorrow’s maximum could be 44 degrees Celsius. Strong, dusty winds and heatwave conditions are expected. The weather will be similar on June 11th, followed by a hot and humid day on June 12th. Rain and thunderstorms are expected on June 13th.

Uttar Pradesh is under the grip of intense heat. The weather department has issued a heatwave alert for the southern and western parts of the state from today to June 11th. Agra, Braj, and Bundelkhand could face heatwaves accompanied by dust storms. Rain is expected from June 11th.

Bihar will experience hot weather until Tuesday. The maximum temperature might increase by two to four degrees Celsius in the next two days. The weather is expected to change from late on June 10th, with thunderstorms and rain. Jharkhand is also experiencing severe heat and humidity. Light rain with thunder is expected in some districts, including Ranchi, this afternoon, potentially offering relief.

Rajasthan has seen a surge in temperatures after the western disturbance, breaking all previous heat records. Most districts are again experiencing heatwave conditions. No rain or thunderstorms are forecast for Rajasthan in the coming week. Punjab and Haryana are also experiencing intense heat.

Rain is not expected in the hilly regions for now. However, rain is anticipated in the hilly regions between June 11th and 13th. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and parts of Jammu and Kashmir may receive heavy rainfall during this period. Wind speeds could reach 40 to 50 kmph, potentially offering relief.
